One can use the search feature for that. To open the search menu, simply press<strong> Ctrl + E<\/strong> on your Windows keyboard.<\/p>\n<h3>Toggle Mute<\/h3>\n<p>If you\u2019re reading this, you have undoubtedly been on a call where there are kids crying or dogs barking in the background and some poor soul has no idea that they are disrupting the entire meeting. Do not be that person. Use the <strong>Ctrl + Shift + M<\/strong> to mute yourself and your coworkers will thank you for it. Trust us.<\/p>\n<h3>Express Emotion with an Emoji<\/h3>\n<p>Sometimes words just cannot express how we&#8217;re feeling. If you can\u2019t find the right emoji in the emoji library below the message box, here is a shortcut to find many more!\u00a0<strong>:word<\/strong> \u2013 Type a colon \u201c:\u201d immediately followed by a word to discover additional emojis (e.g. :people or :banana)<\/p>\n<h3>Attach a File<\/h3>\n<p>For many of us, Outlook has been the norm for sending attachments to others, but did you know that you can quickly attach files from your PC or OneDrive app while using Teams? By clicking <strong>Ctrl + O<\/strong>, you can open the menu to attach a file in a chat or share with an entire channel.<\/p>\n<h3>Start an Audio or Video Call<\/h3>\n<p>If you\u2019re starting to consider yourself as a bit of a videoconferencing pro, here\u2019s another arrow for your quiver. To quickly place an audio or video call, press <strong>Ctrl + Shift + C<\/strong>. Type in who you\u2019d like to contact and you\u2019re off to the races.<\/p>\n<h3>Decline an Incoming Call<\/h3>\n<p>Even though we are in quarantine, we still need our privacy, especially considering how much our schedules have shifted.
