David Scott, D-GA, will &#8220;help small businesses provide improved service in today\u2019s modern economy,&#8221; Scott said in an October announcement.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-2450\" src=\"https:\/\/lg-staging.lougcloud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/New-PPP-Loans-Cover-Cloud-Computing-And-Business-Software.jpg\" alt=\"New PPP Loans Cover Cloud Computing And Business Software\" width=\"799\" height=\"418\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lg-staging.lougcloud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/New-PPP-Loans-Cover-Cloud-Computing-And-Business-Software.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/lg-staging.lougcloud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/New-PPP-Loans-Cover-Cloud-Computing-And-Business-Software-300x157.jpg 300w, https:\/\/lg-staging.lougcloud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/New-PPP-Loans-Cover-Cloud-Computing-And-Business-Software-1030x539.jpg 1030w, https:\/\/lg-staging.lougcloud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/New-PPP-Loans-Cover-Cloud-Computing-And-Business-Software-768x402.jpg 768w, https:\/\/lg-staging.lougcloud.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/New-PPP-Loans-Cover-Cloud-Computing-And-Business-Software-705x369.jpg 705w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 799px) 100vw, 799px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To qualify for the loans, you must be a business, independent contractor, eligible self-employed individual, sole proprietor, nonprofit organization, veteran\u2019s organization, Tribal business concern, housing cooperative, small agricultural cooperative, eligible 501(c)(6) organization, or eligible nonprofit news organization.<\/p>\n<p>Also, you must:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain fewer than 300 employees<\/li>\n<li>Experienced a loss of 25% or more in revenue in 2020 when compared to 2019<\/li>\n<li>Received a First Draw PPP Loan<\/li>\n<li>Expended or slated to expend the full amount of the first PPP loan prior to receiving the second<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Covered operating expenditures, which refer to payments for any business software or cloud computing service that facilitates business operations; product or service delivery; the processing, payment, or tracking of payroll expenses; human resources; sales and billing functions; or accounting or tracking of supplies, inventory, records, and expenses.<\/p>\n<p>Forgivable costs have now been expanded to include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cCovered worker protection expenditures\u201d such as costs of facility modification and personal protective equipment<\/li>\n<li>\u201cCovered operations expenditures\u201d including business software or cloud computing services for accounting, inventory tracking and other needs<\/li>\n<li>\u201cCovered supplier costs\u201d including payments to suppliers for goods that are essential to operations at the time of purchase, so long as they are purchased under a contract or purchase order in effect before the covered period or, for perishable goods, in effect before or during the covered period<\/li>\n<li>\u201cCovered property damage costs\u201d resulting from public disturbances in 2020 that were not covered by insurance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><!-- close content main div --><\/div><\/div><div id='newsletter-cta'  class='avia-section av-k94bv4z5-3db5045821716543f466fd2ed6fe087e main_color avia-section-default avia-no-border-styling  avia-builder-el-4  el_after_av_one_full  avia-builder-el-last  avia-bg-style-scroll container_wrap fullsize'  ><div class='container av-section-cont-open' ><div class='template-page content  av-content-full alpha units'><div class='post-entry post-entry-type-page post-entry-2447'><div class='entry-content-wrapper clearfix'>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\" id=\"style-css-av-51vv-890cb9339298166528b66afbca7f3287\">\n.flex_column.av-51vv-890cb9339298166528b66afbca7f3287{\nborder-radius:0px 0px 0px 0px;\npadding:0px 0px 0px 0px;\n}\n<\/style>\n<div  class='flex_column av-51vv-890cb9339298166528b66afbca7f3287 av_one_half  avia-builder-el-5  el_before_av_one_half  avia-builder-el-first  first flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding  '     ><section  class='av_textblock_section av-k91ny805-e4fa07328a97eaf5a443b98b19009ade '  ><div class='avia_textblock' ><p>Louisville Geek provides comprehensive managed IT services for a diverse range of businesses and non-profit organizations.
